The character I chose from the film was a woman named Marcellina. I feel like she had a big impact in the film because she wants to get closer to Figaro. In the film she has a big role in the story even though she is just a housekeeper which means that she is in the working class under the middle class. In the film " The marriage of Figaro" it says that " Marcellina is the countless Duenna who has lent Figaro money on the condition of if he cant pay it back he has to marry her." This is one way she thinks she can absolutely get him to marry her hoping he will fail along with Bartolo.

Marcellina's is mainly another woman that Susanna and Countess Almaviva must beware of in there competition of love for Figaro. In the play "when Susanna meets Marcellina they exchange mainly insults towards one another." Even though Figaro isn't interested in marrying Marcellina or anyone else but Susanna. He comes up with many excuses to get out of marrying Marcellina and the count in the end ends up canceling there wedding.
I feel like the very last sentence of Act 5 was meant to be a me a metaphor that expresses the light at the end of the play or Figaro and Susanna and the fool who got played. The term satire stands for irony or how something that is profitable for you could come back around and haunt you later on.
